At the 2024 Autumn Research Presentation of the Acoustical Society of Japan, held at the Kansai University Senriyama Campus from Wednesday, September 4th to Friday, September 6th, 2024, Japan Probe presented on increasing sensitivity using a focused ultrasound measurement method that takes refraction and spherical aberration into account.
We also participated in the poster exhibition at the meeting and introduced non-contact air-coupled ultrasonic testing system, pulsar & receivers, special flexible probes such as "Takotan" and "Kyokutan", the ultrasonic propagation simulator SWAN21, and development examples of custom-made probes.
You can download the presentation paper and the poster from the link at the bottom of this page.。
・Academic presentation
Subject:Increasing sensitivity using a focused ultrasound measurement method that takes refraction and spherical aberration into account.
Overview:In order to generate a focus at any position inside a test piece, presented the conditions for the placement of a focusing probe, taking refraction and spherical aberration into account.
The transmitting probe is positioned close to the test piece to account for refraction, but the receiving probe must be spaced apart to account for multiple reflections inside the test piece.
