Wind mill generator blade (GFRP)
We introduce the application of the lightning examination and tension test for the CFPR blade of wind mill generator by non contact air coupled ultrasonic testing system "NAUT21".
Effective use of natural energy is paid attention, and the wind power generation is expanded in the world. But the damage accidents caused by the lightening happen because it is used in natural environment.
In the case that strike of lightning destroys wind power generators, there are internal damages that can't be judged from the outside appearance in a blade for wind power generator, so non destructive inspection method is expected.
We introduce the result of the lightening test and the tension test for GFRP by non contact air coupled ultrasonic testing system "NAUT21".
As to the picture, the delamination, damages, the delamination caused by tension test and holes are found out well.
