Endurance test of flexible array probe
We tested the endurance test of a bending flexible array probe (special flexible array probe).
This probe is the new ultrasonic array probe which is available for detecting subsurface defects. They have not detected so far by conventional method.
It is expected to inspect the wing of air planes, pipe lines of plants, welded part, composite materials, and aluminum die cast. We did the endurance test of the special flexible array probe by bending of (the special flexible array probe).
The endurance test is bended at 30,000 times, and this probe did not show any
damage about the outside appearance, wave form and sensitivity. They were perfect.
・The test material:
[special flexible array probe]5MHz、32ch
・Measurement:
The probe is set for endurance testing machine on R30mm acrylic resin specimen . the load is 1.5Kgf and pushing and bending of 30.000 times
